Quick Lemon Caper Sauce!

The other night, everyone was hungry, but no one could agree on what we should have for dinner. I decided to grab a bottle of Reserve Chardonnay, a box of bow-tie pasta from the pantry, boiled it to al dente, took some shrimp out of the freezer, sautéed them in butter and chili flakes, and finally combined everything and tossed with this dreamy sauce!
  • 1 cup Fritz Chardonnay
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan
  • 2 tbsps Capers, drained
  • Freshly cracked pepper to taste

In a saucepan over medium heat, bring the wine and lemon juice to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in heavy cream. Reduce for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in grated Parmesan and capers.
Combine this dreamy sauce with your favorite pasta, add shrimp or chicken sauteed with some chili flakes for a little kick!
